Audio Trouble

Just got done installing Vista beta v2 (was previously running XP Home)
no audio works at all now, the only occourance of audio working that i remember was when i FIRST started vista, i heard the usual 'windows starting noise'
any way to fix this? none of my speakers are getting any signal, and my front headphone jacks arn't working either
much appreciated -chris

I was having the same issue after the initial install. I am using a Creative Labs Audigy sound card in my system. I found that I had to go directly to the Creative Labs site and download the beta driver for Vista. Once I installed that, my sound works great. So, you probably need to check the manufacturer's site for whatever sound card you have and download their Vista driver manually.

I am having the same problem with my hp 7350n media center, from the installation i have had no sound, i went to the manufacture website and they had a beta version for my sound card for vista, but unfortunately during the install it says you must be running windows vista(which i currently am) so i am stuck . If i find a cure i will post it to you
